The 2012 International Photography Awards

My image of an abandoned house in the Danakil, Ethiopia was Awarded: Honorable Mention in Fine Art – Landscape category in the International Photography Awards Competition 2012.

The 2012 International Photography Awards received nearly 18,000 submissions from 104 countries across the globe.The Foundation’s mission is to honor master photographers, to discover new and emerging talent and to promote the appreciation of photography. Since 2003, IPA has had the privilege and opportunity to acknowledge and recognize contemporary photographer’s accomplishments in this specialized and highly visible competition.

Px3 Competition 2012

Two of my portfolio’s entered in the Px3 Prix de la Photographie Paris 2012 were placed. My Dhammkaya Temple series was awarded the Silver medal in the Press – Feature Story catagory and can be seen here:

The other was a series I did titled Religous Rubbish about Bangkok’s discarding of sacred spirit houses was awarded an Honourable Mention in the Fine Art/Landscape catagory:
