Calm Taipei
This was shot on my first ever trip to Taipei, first trip to Taiwan, a few weeks ago. It is a view from Elephant Mountain, one of the peaks that surround the city. Loved by hikers and exercising old people there is no better place to get a view of the city. I didn’t know what to expect of Taipein but found it totally calm, organised and void of the usual madness that is offered in mainland cities across the strait. And no-where else is as calm as up on the mountain at dusk.

Monks en Masse – Geographical Magazine
February’s 2011 issue of Geographical Magazine, magazine of the Royal Geographical Society, featured my story of Bangkok’s Dhammakaya Temple as its cover story. For over a year I have been documenting the enormous and impressive mass Buddhist gatherings that the temple holds.

Cambodian wedding in the South China Morning Post
The South China Morning Post Magazine used three of my images of a Khmer wedding to illustrate an article by British writer Robert Turnbull. His article titled “Rite Wedding” talks about the resurgence of traditional Cambodian wedding practices in a country that is trying to embrace its past.
