Following the great success of my exhibition titled For Those Who Died Trying presented by Protection International in the Palais des Nations in Geneva on the 9th-10th of May and with it going viral through Thai social media I thought I would share with you a bit more about how the project came about and how it was produced. For those that haven’t seen it yet (some pictures are included in this post) For Those Who Died Trying was a project I came up with in late 2014 after I met the inspirational Thai environmental activist Jintana Kaewkhaw in Prachuap Kiri Khan Province.

I Am Chut Wutty

Yesterday, April 26th, marked the anniversary of the death of a remarkable man. Chut Wutty was a Cambodian environmental activist trying to expose the large-scale logging linked to Economic Land Concessions that is destroying the countries forests at an alarming rate. But it was this exposure of corruption and illegal exploitation that ultimately lead to his un-timely death.
